Please note that there is NO Probate Court Family Division: Probate has not had jurisdiction over juvenile, adoption, or other family court matters since 1998. The proper title is Tenth Judicial Circuit Family Division. Probate Court does still exist to deal with mental cases, and estates, and it has some jurisdiction over things like minor guardianships, but by and large all the things that used to be in juvenile division of probate court have been in the family division of circuit court for a decade. Judge McGraw and I are probate judges and are also assigned to the family division of circuit court.
I know old thinking dies hard, but after ten years, I trust we can start using the proper designations
